BLUE JAYS EXTEND STAY IN DUNEDIN

UPDATE ON BLUE JAYS HOME GAME TIMES AND LOCATION

The Toronto Blue Jays today announce the club will play its third homestand (May 14 to 24) at TD Ballpark in Dunedin, FL, with updated game times summarized below and a complete updated 2021 regular season schedule in the attached:

  • Weeknight games shifted 30 minutes later to 7:07 p.m. ET
  • Saturday games shifted four hours later to 7:07 p.m. ET
  • Sunday games remain at 1:07 p.m. ET
  • Getaway days shifted two hours earlier to 1:07 p.m. ET

Tickets for the third Blue Jays regular season homestand, starting May 14 vs. the Philadelphia Phillies, go on sale to the general public on Thursday, April 15 at 10 a.m. ET (bluejays.com/tickets).

No decision has been made on a Blue Jays home location following the first three homestands, but the primary goal remains returning to play on Canadian soil as soon as it is safe to do so. The club has been actively working through plans for what a safe return to Rogers Centre would look like, while also scenario planning alternatives in Dunedin and Buffalo.

The Toronto Blue Jays have announced the 26-man active roster and five-player taxi squad for Opening Day. A complete list is below.

The following roster moves have also been made:

  • LHP Tim Mayza has been selected to the Major League roster
  • INF Joe Panik has been selected to the Major League roster
  • RHP Joel Payamps has been recalled from the club’s alternate training site
  • LHP Travis Bergen has been optioned to the club’s alternate training site
  • LHP Anthony Kay has been optioned to the club’s alternate training site
  • RHP Thomas Hatch has been placed on the 10-day injured list (retroactive to March 29) with a right elbow impingement
  • RHP Nate Pearson has been placed on the 10-day injured list (retroactive to March 29) with a right adductor strain
  • LHP Robbie Ray has been placed on the 10-day injured list (retroactive to March 29) with a left elbow contusion
  • OF George Springer has been placed on the 10-day injured list (retroactive to March 29) with a left oblique strain
  • RHP Kirby Yates has been placed on the 10-day injured list (retroactive to March 29) due to right elbow surgery
  • C Reese McGuire has been designated for assignment
