RAPTORS NOTES • Toronto Raptors finish a five-game Western Conference trip (Nov. 8-16) Saturday night against the Dallas Mavericks at American Airlines Center. This matches Toronto’s longest road trip of the season. The Raptors will also play five in a row on the road March 1-9. Toronto’s next home game is Monday, Nov. 18 vs. Charlotte. The Raptors play eight of 13 games on the road in the month of November. Toronto has won seven of the last eight games with Dallas, including each of the last three meetings.

• The Raptors were 11-4 on the road vs. Western Conference opponents last season. Toronto is the only Eastern Conference team to finish with a +.500 record on the road against the West each of the past four seasons (2015-19). Since the start of the 2015-16 campaign, the Raptors are 38-26 (.594) when facing a Western Conference opponent on the road.

Pascal Siakam led the Raptors with 36 points in Wednesday night’s victory over Portland. Siakam scored 30+ points for the fifth time in the first 11 games this season. He had five 30-point performances in 80 games played last season after not reaching the 30-point mark in either of first two NBA seasons.

Fred VanVleet recorded 30 points and seven assists Wednesday night against the Trail Blazers – his third career 30-point performance and second this season. VanVleet scored a career-high 34 points in the season-opener Oct. 22 vs. New Orleans. VanVleet has had at least four more assists than turnovers in each of the last seven games (Oct. 30 – Nov. 13). During this span, VanVleet has totaled 59 assists compared to just 14 turnovers.

• The Raptors currently rank first in the NBA in opponent field goal percentage (.405). Toronto has held its opponent below 40 per cent shooting from the floor five times this season – tied with the LA Lakers, Denver, Orlando and Utah for most in the NBA. Portland shot just .396 (38-96) from the floor Wednesday night.

Rondae Hollis-Jefferson set season highs with 16 points and 11 rebounds in 26 minutes Nov. 13 at Portland – his 27th career double-double and first with the Raptors. Hollis-Jefferson is averaging 11.7 points and 7.7 rebounds over the last three games (Nov. 10-13) after being a DNP the previous five games.

• The Raptors outscored Portland 50-22 in the paint on Wednesday night. The Raptors are tied with the LA Clippers in the NBA for points in the paint allowed (42.5) – behind only Milwaukee (38.0). Toronto is a perfect 5-0 this season when holding its opponent to fewer than 30 points in the paint.

Terence Davis II scored a career-best 15 points in a career-high 31 minutes of action Nov. 13 at Portland. Davis has now scored in double figures in two of the last three games (Nov. 10-13). He is averaging 11.0 points, while shooting .538 (7-for-13) from three-point range, during this stretch.

Delon Wright will play his first game against his former team Saturday night. Wright averaged 6.7 points, 2.4 rebounds, 2.3 assists and 17.5 minutes in 172 games during three-plus seasons with the Raptors. Toronto selected him 20th overall in the 2015 NBA Draft. Wright was traded to Memphis along with Jonas Valanciunas, C.J. Miles and a second-round pick for Marc Gasol at the NBA trade deadline last season.
