HEAD COACH GREG MOORE
On tonight’s game:
Hutch was great today. Maybe the best game I’ve seen him play in person. Really calm, really poised. He fought so hard to find pucks through traffic. Being able to get to rebounds and get to his feet and push. He was really impressive to watch today. The team as a whole, there was no panic. The last few games here, you can tell they have confidence that even when they weather the storm, they know what they need to get back on track. They know the formula. It just takes one big shift to turn it around and start adding to some sequences to tilt the ice back in our favour and they find a way to do that even after a little bit of a push from the opponent.

HEAD COACH GREG MOORE
On facing Laval:
There’s definitely times whenever you play Laval that you’re going to have to weather some type of storm. Just the way in which they play. I don’t think regardless of who the opponent is against them with how hard they forecheck and then they just get pucks to the point and get a lot of rubber on net, you have to break the cycle at some point. Our guys have done a really good job of managing the game. There’s been some five, six, seven minutes segments throughout the last three games where we haven’t had to spend any time in our D-zone and that’s just the guys being really smart with the puck managing the game, managing the ice. When you’re stuck in your D-zone and they’re shooting everything, tonight it was really impressive. Our forwards, their willingness to get in lanes, block shots. Our D were boxing out hard at the net, they were blocking shots too. Our forwards did a good job of collapsing out front, out numbering them defensively at the net and being able to get good exits.
