The Raptors have won three in a row and four of their last five. Thursday marks the third of four meetings with Chicago this
season – the Bulls have won the first two games, including a 111-105 victory last Wednesday in Chicago.
• Gary Trent Jr. match a season-high with 33 points (11-20 FG, 6-10 3PT, 5-8 FT) in Tuesday’s win vs. Miami. • Gary Trent Jr. has made at least five three-pointers in a franchise record five straight games (Jan. 25-31), shooting .517 (31-60) from beyond the arc during this stretch. • Fred VanVleet is averaging career highs of 21.5 points, 7.0 assists and 4.7 rebounds this season. He leads the NBA in minutes per game (38.6) and has logged 40+ minutes 16 times this season – the most by a Raptor since Kyle Lowry (19) during the 2016-2017 campaign. VanVleet ranks second in the NBA in total deflections (174). VanVleet has led the league in deflections per game each of the past two seasons.
• The Raptors currently rank second in the NBA in both offensive rebounds (13.2) and second-chance points (16.4). Chicago’s 46-point drubbing (133-87) of the Detroit Pistons (1/11) was not only its 10th straight win over a longtime rival, it also marked the franchise’s
largest margin of victory since February, 22, 1991 when the Bulls stampeded past the Sacramento Kings, 129-82 (47 points).
The 133-points scored vs. Detriot (1/11) was the third time time this season the Bulls have torched the twine for that many points. Chicago last scored 133
points three times in a season in 1990-91.
The Bulls also tied a season-high with 18 treys (18-of-34 .529) vs. Detroit (1/11). Chicago had earlier knocked down 18 from long distance at Atlanta (12/27).
The Bulls definitely weren’t done rewriting the (season) record book after the opening 24 minutes against the Hawks (12/29), as the team went on to record
season-bests in shooting (52-of-84 .619 FG%) and assists 38, a total that hadn’t been reached since Dec. 2, 2014, in a double-overtime game vs. Dallas.
Also against Atlanta (12/29), all 12 active Bulls players saw the floor and scored, with seven notching double figures, and two posting double-doubles (Nikola
Vučević – 16 points/20 rebounds and Coby White – 17 points/12 assists).
PLAYER NOTE-A-BULLS
NIKOLA VUČEVIĆ notched his 27th double-double of the season vs. Orlando (2/1) with 18 points and 13 rebounds. That ties him with Giannis
Antetokounmpo for the 6th-most double-doubles in the NBA this season. Vučević has been on a roll of late, recording double-doubles (points/rebounds) in
eight of his last nine games.
AYO DOSUNMU shot a perfect 9-of-9 from the field to start the game at Oklahoma City (1/24), establishing a new Bulls rookie record. ORLANDO
WOOLRIDGE held the previous mark by shooting 8-of-8 at Indiana (1/17/82) during his first season. Dosunmu finished the night with 24 points on 10-of-14
shooting, including 4-of-6 from beyond the 3-point arc.
DeMAR DeROZAN posted a season-high 41 points at Orlando (1/23) on 15-of-21 shooting (.714) from the field – his highest shooting percentage when
scoring 40+ points. It was also his third straight game of scoring 30+ points.
DOSUNMU became the first rookie in NBA history to record 20+ points and 10 assists while shooting 90% (9-of-10, including 3-of-3 from beyond the arc)
from the floor in a game at Boston (1/15). It was his third career start, and he finished with 21 points, 10 assists and four rebounds.
DOSUNMU backed up his historic night in Boston (1/15) with a second consecutive double-double at Memphis (1/17), posting 15 points and 10 rebounds,
while also bagging four steals against the Grizzlies. He’s the first Bulls rookie to record back-to-back double-doubles since ELTON BRAND in April, 2000.
DeMAR DeROZAN became the first player in NBA history to hit game-winning buzzer-beaters on back-to-back days with clutch 3-pointers at Indiana (12/31)
and at Washington (1/1). Only one other player in NBA history (Boston Hall of Famer LARRY BIRD) hit back-to-back game-winning buzzer-beaters before,
but Bird’s occurred over three days (Jan. 27 and Jan. 29, 1985). (Basketball-Reference)
DeMAR DeROZAN (35 points, 10 assists) and ZACH LaVINE (30 points, nine assists) became the second pair of Bulls teammates to post 30+ points and
hand out 9+ assists in the same game (at Atlanta 12/27) since MICHAEL JORDAN (37 points, nine assists) and SCOTTIE PIPPEN (35 points, nine assists)
at Boston on March 31, 1991. (NBA History).
DeROZAN (38x) and LaVINE (37x) are two of only six players in the league (and the only teammates) to score 20+-points 37 times this season, and in the
same game an NBA-best 27 times. DeROZAN (13x) and LaVINE (12x) are also the only teammates to score 30+-points at least a dozen times this season.
When it comes to scoring down the stretch, Chicago’s Dynamic Duo are two of the best in the business. DeROZAN ranks 2nd overall in 4th-quarter scoring
with 337 points while LaVINE is 12th with 233 points.
DeROZAN ranks 6th in scoring with an average of 26.5 points. Only eight times has he failed to post 20+-points, but he’s scored in double-figures in every
appearance (46) this season.
LaVINE ranks 14th in in scoring with an average of 24.9 points per game. He has failed to score 20+-points only six times this season.

SEEING STARS: The All-Stars on the Bulls roster are making more good cases to be included in the NBA’s marquee weekend
again this season. DeMAR DeROZAN, ZACH LaVINE and NIKOLA VUČEVIĆ are playing some of the best basketball in the East
at their positions, and AYO DOSUNMU is making his presence known among his rookie class as a Rising Star. DeROZAN was
named a starter in the All-Star Game on Jan. 27 for the third time in his career. It’s his first All-Star nod as a member of the Bulls,
but his fifth selection overall.
AYO DOSUNMU – Selected by NBA assistant coaches, Dosunmu was recently named one of 12 first-year players to participate in the 2022 Clorox Rising Stars
Game on Friday, Feb. 18 at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse in Cleveland as part of NBA All-Star Weekend. TNT will televise the annual showcase of premier young
talent at 8 p.m. CT. In 12 games as a starter this season, Dosunmu has averaged 37.5 mpg, 11.9 points, 4.4 rebounds, 6.3 assists and only 1.8 turnovers while
shooting .573 from the field, .459 from three and .842 from the free throw line.
o He’s one of five rookies to have consecutive double-double games this season (1/15 at BOS and 1/17 at MEM), and one of two to score at least 15 points
in both of the games.
o Is the only rookie to shoot .500 or better (.531) from the field and .400 or better (.432) from three (with a minimum of 40 games played).
TWO FOR THE ROAD: Ten times this season DeMAR DeROZAN and ZACH LaVINE combined to score 60+-points in a game. Each occasion has come on the road,
with Chicago winning eight of the 10 games.
DIALING LONG DISTANCE: ZACH LaVINE is quickly rising to the top of the Bulls’ All-Time Three-point list. In the fourth game of the season (and LaVine’s 209th as
a Bull), the 8th-year guard knocked down three treys at Toronto (10/25/21) to pass franchise icon MICHAEL JORDAN (555) for the No. 4 spot in Bulls history. LaVine
then moved ahead of fellow Bulls Hall of Famer, SCOTTIE PIPPEN (664), after hitting three more long distance shots vs. Portland (1/30/22) in his 247th game as a
Chicago Bull. The franchise’s No. 2 spot is in now sight and could LaVine’s by the end of this season
The first Canadian-born player drafted by the Raptors, No. 46 pick Dalano Banton entered the NBA known for his passing skills.

• The Toronto Raptors play the second game of a back-to-back set and first of a three-game road trip (Jan. 26-31) Wednesday night at Chicago. The Raptors have won two of their last three (Jan. 21-25) and are 8-5 in the month of January. Toronto will play 11 of their next 15 games (Jan. 26 – Feb. 28) on the road.
• Gary Trent Jr. scored a season-best 32 points (11-21 FG, 5-10 3PT, 5-5 FT), including 14 in the third quarter, in Tuesday’s win over Charlotte. Trent Jr. scored 30+ points for the fifth time in his career, fourth since joining Toronto at the trade deadline last year and second time this season.
• With Fred VanVleet unavailable due to right knee soreness, Pascal Siakam started at point guard last night against the Hornets. Siakam tallied 24 points, a career high-tying 12 assists and nine assists. He had
19 points, eight assists and seven rebounds in the first half, becoming the first player in franchise history to record 15+ points, 7+ assists and 7+ rebounds in a half.
• Chris Boucher finished with 12 points, seven rebounds and two blocks in 30 minutes of action Jan. 25 vs. Charlotte. Boucher has now scored in double figures in a career high-tying eight straight games (Jan. 11-
25), averaging 13.6 points and 9.3 rebounds. He is shooting .493 (37-75) from the field and .452 (14-31) from three-point distance during this stretch.
• Pascal Siakam is currently averaging 21.3 points, and career highs of 8.3 rebounds and 5.1 assists. He is one of just five players in the NBA averaging 20.0 points, 8.0 rebounds and 5.0 assists this season, along
with Giannis Antetokounmpo, Luka Doncic, James Harden, and Nikola Jokic.
• Fred VanVleet is averaging career highs of 21.7 points, 7.0 assists and 4.7 rebounds. He leads the NBA in minutes per game (38.2), and ranks second in total deflections (157) and fifth in steals (71). VanVleet has
led the league in deflections per game each of the past two seasons. The Raptors currently lead the NBA in deflections per game (18.0) and rank third in steals (9.2).
• Rookie Scottie Barnes ranks second among rookies in rebounds (7.8), and fourth in both points (14.6) and assists (3.4). Barnes leads all rookies with three games of 20+ points and 10+ rebounds.
• The Raptors rank second in the NBA in both offensive rebounds per game (13.4) and second-chance points (16.7). Through 13 games in January, Toronto has outrebounded opponents 189-to-128 (+61) on
the offensive end. Chris Boucher has grabbed a team-high 39 offensive boards this month.
• Pascal Siakam has scored 20+ points in four games and eight of the nine (Jan. 9-23). He is averaging a team-high 23.9 points over the last nine games. Siakam is shooting .491 (83-169) from the field and .375
