The Trail Blazers started the game on a 25-4 run to take a 21-point lead at the 4:48 mark of the first quarter … Portland outscored Toronto 33-15 in the first … The Trail Blazers led by as many as 34 points late in the first half and took a 64-34 lead into the break … Toronto’s 34 points was the fewest they’ve scored in a half this season. 

KEY STAT

Portland shot .529 (45-85) from the field, including a season-high .562 (18-32) from beyond the arc … The Trail Blazers are a perfect 7-0 when they shoot 50 percent or better from the field.

RAPTORS NOTES:

• With the loss, Toronto falls to 22-22 this season and 12-12 at home … The Raptors will host Charlotte on Tuesday.
• Pascal Siakam finished with 28 points, eight rebounds and five assists in 34 minutes … Siakam has now scored 20+ points in seven of the last eight games (Jan. 9-23), averaging 23.9 points and shooting .484 (74-153) from the field during this stretch.
• Fred VanVleet recorded 19 points, a team-high eight assists, five rebounds and a season-high five steals in 42 minutes … With his eight assists tonight, VanVleet (1,555) passed Vince Carter (1,553) for sixth on the Raptors’ all-time assists list.
• Toronto tied a season high with nine blocks, led by a season high-tying three blocks by Chris Boucher.
• OG Anunoby tallied 11 points, eight rebounds and five assists in 42 minutes … Anunoby has now scored in double-digits in 13 straight games (Dec. 31 – Jan. 23), averaging 17.8 points and shooting .429 (82-191) from the field during this stretch.
• The Raptors matched a season-best with 18 three-point field goals on a season-high 54 three-point field goals attempts.

TRAIL BLAZERS NOTES:

• With the win, Portland improves to 20-26, including 6-15 on the road … The Trail Blazers have now won four of their last five games and finish their six-game road trip (Jan. 13-23) at 4-2 … Portland returns home to play Minnesota on Tuesday.
• Jusuf Nurkic tallied 11 points and 11 rebounds in 31 minutes for his 21st double-double of the season … Nurkic has now matched a career-best with his fifth consecutive double-double (Jan. 15-23) … Entering tonight’s game, Nurkic had collected 136 rebounds in the month of January, second most in the NBA behind only Nikola Jokic (149).
• CJ McCollum finished with 19 points, 10 rebounds and six assists for his first double-double of the season … McCollum collected 10+ rebounds for the fifth time in his career (Last:  Jan. 26, 2019 vs. Atlanta).
• Anfernee Simons recorded 19 points, five assists and three rebounds in 37 minutes … Simons has scored 15+ points in four of the last five games (Jan. 15-23), averaging 22.2 points and shooting .442 (38-86) from the field during this stretch.
• Portland dished out a season-high 31 assists, led by CJ McCollum (6), Dennis Smith Jr. (6), Robert Covington (5) and Anfernee Simons (5) … With his six assists tonight, McCollum (1,852) passed Mychal Thompson (1,848) for eighth on the Trail Blazers’ all-time assists List.
