Sign In The Boston Celtics are playing for the first time in a week, finally getting a game in as scheduled Friday night against the Orlando Magic. And it looks like their lineup won’t be completely decimated, either. The Celtics had two reported cases of COVID-19 with Jayson Tatum and Robert Williams. Both will be…
Sign In The playbook for the NBA’s 2020-21 season is being written as we go here. As the COVID-19 pandemic continues to impact their efforts to push on without a bubble, the league has had to tighten up some of its health and safety protocols. A number of games have been postponed due to outbreaks…

It wasn’t an extension, but the A’s star third baseman got a significant raise in his first year of arbitration. Matt Chapman, the A’s Platinum Glove third baseman, signed a one-year deal worth $6.49 million. Despite a tumultuous year and slow off season with few moves thus far, the A’s managed to avoid arbitration with…

The NBA fined the point guard $50,000 on Friday for violating its health and safety protocols, and said he could return to team activities Saturday. The league added that he would forfeit his salary for each game he […]
Liam Hendriks introduced himself to the South Side on Friday. True to form, Hendriks didn’t hold much back as he talked to reporters at his introductory Zoom press conference. The Chicago White Sox’s new $54 million closer wasn’t afraid to share his experience in this strange free agency market, saying the Oakland A’s weren’t in…
