Trailing by eight points (94-86) at the 9:33 mark in the fourth quarter, Denver went on a 12-1 run to take a three-point lead (98-95) with 6:54 remaining in the frame … The Nuggets did not trail for the rest of the game … Denver is 7-2 this season when the game is decided by one possession.

  • Fred VanVleet tallied 25 points, five rebounds and five assists in 38 minutes … VanVleet has now made five three-pointers in four consecutive games played (Feb. 4-12), shooting 50 percent (23-46) from beyond the arc during this stretch … VanVleet has tallied five or more three-pointers in a franchise record 18 games this season. 
  • Scottie Barnes scored 17 points and added five rebounds and three steals in 30 minutes … Barnes has tallied 15+ points 24 times this season … The only Raptors to record more games with 15 or more points in their rookie season are Damon Stoudamire, Vince Carter, Charlie Villanueva and Marcus Camby.
  • Toronto forced 18 Nuggets turnovers leading to 22 points … The Raptors have pressured opponents into 15 or more turnovers in 31 games this season and are tied for third in the NBA in points off turnovers (18.9).

NUGGETS NOTES:

  • With the win, Denver improves to 31-25, including 16-15 on the road … The Nuggets will return home to play Orlando Monday night.
  • Nikola Jokic finished with 28 points, 15 rebounds and six assists in 35 minutes for his league-leading 44th double-double of the season … Jokic has now recorded 20+ points, 10+ rebounds and five or more assists in a career high-tying six consecutive games (Feb. 1-12), averaging 24.2 points, 13.7 rebounds and 8.5 assists during this stretch … The other time he accomplished this streak was earlier this season (Dec. 8-17).

  • Bones Hyland made his second career start and finished with 11 points, four rebounds and four assists in 24 minutes … The Nuggets are 10-0 this season when Hyland scores in double figures.
  • Jeff Green tallied 19 points, five rebounds and five assists in 31 minutes … Green tallied 15+ points, five or more rebounds and five or more assists for just the 13th time in his 13-year career, and the first time this season.
  • Denver shot .464 (39-84) from the field and tallied 110 points in the win … The Nuggets are 22-4, including 12-3 on road when they score 110+ points.
